Nanny

SCARSDALE, NY- A wonderful family in Scarsdale, NY (40 min train ride from Manhattan, and the border of Connecticut) is seeking an energetic, experienced, and caring FULL-TIME, LIVE-OUT Child caregiver to join their close-knit household. This role will be focused primarily on their sweet 16-month-old daughter, a friendly and independent little girl who loves to smile, chat, and explore the world around her. With another baby on the way in March 2025, this is an exciting opportunity for a nanny who loves supporting growing families!

The hours are M-F 10 AM – 6 PM.  The family’s daily schedule revolves around structured routines to ensure their daughter’s well-being and development. Her day starts around 6:30 AM, with breakfast and engaging activities, followed by a morning nap from 9 to 10:30 AM. The nanny will help organize snacks, group classes, and fun outings like playdates or walks in the nearby park. After lunch at noon and a second nap in the afternoon, the nanny will assist in afternoon activities or playdates, followed by dinner at 6 PM, and her bedtime routine, which begins around 6:40 PM, winding down for sleep by 7 PM.

The family is looking for someone who can balance these childcare duties with household support during downtime, such as light cleaning, family laundry, and running occasional errands. The ideal candidate will also be proactive and helpful, assisting with tasks like meal prep and helping to keep the home tidy and organized.

As a team player, the nanny will work closely with the mother, who loves being involved with her children’s lives and often takes the lead on activities such as attending classes with her daughter. This role is perfect for someone comfortable working alongside a parent in a true partnership, contributing not only through childcare but also by fostering a collaborative and supportive home environment.
