Nanny

 

LOS ANGELES, CA (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) -  A warm and loving family is seeking a dedicated and nurturing FULL-TIME LONG-TERM NANNY to join their household. They have a happy and curious 6-month-old daughter who enjoys social interaction, being read to, and interacting playfully.

The ideal candidate has experience working with infants and toddlers, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to serve as an extra set of hands. The family is looking for someone who is fun, warm, and engaging. Since the mother works from home and strives to be as involved as possible, they need a nanny who can help maintain household organization and needs, allowing for quality mother-daughter time whenever possible.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 6 pm, with flexibility for earlier start times when the mother has scheduled clients. Early mornings will be planned in advance, giving the nanny ample notice. Occasional weekend support and travel would be a plus, and while nighttime assistance is not required, it would be appreciated occasionally.

Primary responsibilities include all aspects of childcare, including managing the child's laundry. Additional household duties involve light housekeeping, such as unloading the dishwasher, assisting with meal preparation, taking out the trash, and ensuring the home remains tidy and organized. A housekeeper visits biweekly for deep cleaning, so the nanny's focus will be on maintaining daily order.
 

The family is looking for the perfect fit to grow with them over time. Driving duties will involve using the family's vehicle if transporting the child. Compensation is $30-40 per hour gross via payroll, with benefits including 5 paid sick days, 10 days of PTO, federal holidays off and paid, and a potential health stipend. The start date for this position is the end of September.
