Nanny

Bronxville, NY (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED): A lovely Bronxville family is seeking a FULL-TIME, LIVE-OUT nanny with experience in and a passion for caring for infants! Their son is a delightful, loving infant with a typical 3-month-old schedule and routine. The family seeks someone caring, compassionate, and energetic to fill his days with safe fun, and age-appropriate learning. While help with household tasks is appreciated, the primary focus will be their son's care and development. A background in Early Childhood Education would be a bonus. They hope to find someone seeking a long-term position to grow with their family!

Their son follows a typical infant schedule. He wakes around 9 am/9:30 am, eats and plays for a bit, and then naps for roughly 50-60 minutes. Upon waking, he follows an eat, play, and sleep routine, repeating every 2-3 hours. He is curious about the world around him, enjoying tummy time and activities such as his play mats. Age-appropriate engagement to help him play, learn, and develop will be part of this role.
 

The current schedule is Monday - Thursday, 8 am-6 pm, and Friday 9 am-5 pm. The family is open to working with the right candidate on schedule if flexibility is needed. The nanny will follow the child's schedule as outlined by the parents, adjusting for age as time passes. While the baby naps, it would be ideal if the nanny could help with light housekeeping and laundry! The parents seek a caregiver who will be a team player, following their lead and directions as it pertains to their son and his care.

The family lives in a lovely suburban neighborhood of Bronxville, with parks and points of interest within easy walking or driving distance. Their home is a 7-minute walk from the Bronxville train station, but parking is also available at the home. The nanny can use the family car during working hours as directed by the parents; a valid driver’s license and safe driving record are required. The family has one small - very friendly - dog so must be okay with pets and not have any allergies! 

Pay is $30+, based on experience, gross pay via payroll. Paid sick time and vacation will be included, with other benefits open for discussion. Must have MMR, TDaP, and Flu vaccinations up-to-date while working in the home. Must have driver's license and safe driving record.
