Music Teacher
We are searching for a Music Teacher for our Private School, Grades 6-12. We are looking for someone that is experienced in High School Math, and is willing to teach in a classroom setting. Our Private school is small and the teacher would only have 3-5 students per class. We offer a very pleasant environment for learning and teaching. The position would be Full Time with Benefits. As a Music Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a love for music and creativity among our students. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging music lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to students' diverse musical abilities.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods to create interactive learning experiences that inspire students' musical talents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music education effectively into the overall school curriculum.
- Assess students' musical skills, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to support their musical development.
- Organize and oversee musical activities, performances, and events within the school community.
- Encourage student participation in music-related competitions, concerts, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavior in music classes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field.
- Teaching certification or licensure in Music Education is preferred.
- Prior experience teaching music, preferably in an educational setting.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Ability to tailor music lessons to meet the needs of students with varying musical abilities.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Passion for music education and inspiring students through creative expression.
- Knowledge of curriculum development principles specific to music education.
