Mental Health Therapist

Job description

Master's Degree required in Social Work or related field.

PA State License LSW, LCSW, or LPC REQUIRED.

Looking for individuals to treat clients in an outpatient mental health setting.

Part Time hours available, evening hours 4pm-8pm, M-Th.
Currently a 1099 position with the opportunity for full-time employment.

Job Duties:

Administer mental health assessment to identify client needs and diagnosis.

Conduct therapy sessions based on individual needs.

Document each session within a timely manner.

Refer clients to psychiatrist if necessary

Attend necessary training and continuing education courses as needed.

Experience desired but not required in treating the following: depression, anxiety, academic concerns, eating disorders, PTSD, OCD, sexual assault, LGBTQ issues, self-esteem issues, history of family dysfunction, childhood abuse, alcohol and substance abuse issues, Bipolar disorder, life transitions, and couples counseling.

If LSW opportunity to receive supervision hours towards LCSW

This position is in-person. We are looking for someone to work evenings Monday through Thursday.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40.00 - $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
