We are seeking an additional Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform administrative and clinical duties to give the best care possible to our patients and to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Responsibilities:

Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
Perform routine clinical tasks working directly with patients
Communicate with patients, insurance companies and pharmacies
Efficient use of the electronic medical records (EMR) system
Perform drug and alcohol testing after being trained

Qualifications:

Previous experience in healthcare, preferably family practice or internal medicine
Familiarity working with electronic medical records and great computer skills
Knowledge of medicines and an E-prescribing system
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
You must enjoy doing a wide variety of duties - both patient care and administrative.
