Summary

JP is looking for a Media Coordinator to capture and edit both video and photos as well as provide graphic design for a variety of projects. We are looking for a creative, high-energy individual with good organizational and technical skills. Applicants should be team-oriented with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate video and photography equipment to capture footage and images for the JP marketing and media channels.
  • Planning, management, scheduling and execution of video and photo shoots in studio or in the field (both staged and in-action), including editing and export of media for specific platforms (including social media) that meet the company’s brand standards.
  • Manage multiple video, photo and design projects and tasks simultaneously with an attention to detail, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Take direction and participate in creative concepting for content creation discussions to identify media needs and effective use of available assets, plus generate ideas for new media and capture.
  • Cooperate with staff and departments within the company to meet the media needs of JP at large.
  • Match media work to existing house styles and standards and assist in the development and establishment of new and consistent styling.
  • Assist with organizing video and photo files and ensure they are catalogued and easily accessible. Secure and manage releases for all projects.
  • Help manage, organize and maintain video and photo equipment, related hardware/software and studio/edit suite facilities. Troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Stay updated on video, photo and social media content trends, including creative execution, production methods and equipment.
  • Manage JP social media content posting schedule and customer interaction.

 

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience in video production and photography including familiarity with associated camera equipment, lighting equipment and software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Personal portfolio of photography, video and graphics demonstrating technique and abilities
  • Readiness to learn, perform and shift between various duties as necessary
  • Ability to listen and understand as well as communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing
