Massage Therapist

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide exceptional patient care by offering a variety of massage techniques to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Responsibilities:

- Perform therapeutic massages on patients using various techniques such as deep tissue, Swedish, and sports massage

- Assess patients' needs and create individualized treatment plans

- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to effectively address patients' concerns

- Conduct physical examinations to identify areas of tension or discomfort

- Provide acute pain management for patients with specific conditions or injuries

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

- Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care techniques

- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct

 

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

- Ability to perform physical examinations to assess patient needs

- Excellent patient assessment skills to identify areas of concern or discomfort

- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive patient experience

- Experience in deep tissue massage and other therapeutic techniques

- Familiarity with occupational health practices
