For the job function, the role of the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Loan Assistant will utilize all of the firm’s tangible and in-tangible platforms including banking relationships, business knowledge, standardized expert template, niche acumen, and industry experience to:

  • Foster and improve clientele, intermediary, banking, and/or broker relationships
  • Assist management in the loan origination, documentation, processing and account maintenance
  • Obtain and manage confidential data, files, and document collection on all borrowers, lenders, 3rd party vendors for firm projects.
  • Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower's financial standing and loan eligibility

Requirements:

  • Basic math principles and ability to perform calculations accurately
  • Basic understanding of loan origination, contract processing, or related financial services field
  • Ability to analyze credit reports and financial statements to assess borrower's creditworthiness
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and team members
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Site visitation, hotel conference, and employee recruiting will be required (20% potential travel time- all expense paid by Firm)
