Lead Teacher
Lead Teachers will be responsible for a classroom of children during their shift.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing Lesson Plans
- Using My Teaching Strategies to document lesson plans and observations
- Writing observations and documentation for each child (Portfolios)
- Creating an appropriate and safe learning environment
- Following daily routines with the children
- Caring for all children
- Follow DCF and Youngstar guidelines
- Classroom cleanliness and organization
- Parent Teacher Conferences
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Level 7 or above on the Registry
- Completion of mandatory classes: Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler, Introduction to the Childcare Profession, and Skills and Strategies
- CPR
- Mandated Reporter Training
Job Type: Full-time or Part-Time
Salary: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
