The primary purpose and function of this position is to manage the operations of Shadowcliff’s Compassionate Kitchen in a manner consistent with our principles of hospitality, sustainability and providing nutrient dense, vegetable-forward whole foods. The Kitchen Manager/Cook oversees food groups of varying size and duration as well as special events throughout the season. The Kitchen Manager/Cook will plan and prepare meals for groups as well as for staff, supervising kitchen assistants, rotating hospitality assistants, and volunteers in group meal preparation, service, and clean-up.
