Position Overview:

As a Job Site Manager, you will be responsible for supervising daily operations at job sites, ensuring that painting and drywall projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. You will manage employees, coordinate work schedules, and oversee the implementation of safety protocols. Your role will be critical in maintaining productivity, quality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Management: Supervise and coordinate activities of painting and drywall crews. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Work Oversight: Ensure that all projects are executed according to specifications, including reviewing project plans and blueprints. Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Plan and manage work schedules, including breaks and shift rotations. Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors as needed to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and company policies on-site. Conduct safety meetings and inspections to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or obstacles that arise during the project. Communicate effectively with clients, addressing any concerns and providing updates on project status.
  • Inventory and Equipment Management: Monitor and manage the inventory of materials and tools. Ensure that equipment is maintained and used correctly.
  • Perform Training: Ability to train and instruct new hires according to company policies and trade standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Job Site Manager or in a similar role within the painting and drywall industry.
  • Strong knowledge of painting and drywall techniques, materials, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, if needed.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
