Role Overview:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to manage the intake process, ensuring smooth communication between clients, staff, and insurance providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle client inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Screen referrals for applied behavior analysis (ABA) services
  • Collect necessary paperwork and assist with pre-authorizations
  • Verify and update client insurance details
  • Support office staff with insurance denials and audits
  • Maintain organized client records and data

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (Bachelor’s preferred or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years in client intake, preferably in ABA or healthcare
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong computer skills
  • Act 34 Criminal, Act 33 Child Abuse, Mandated and Permissive Reporting Training, FBI Criminal Clearances are required prior to date of hire

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Work Environment

This role is performed in an office with heavy computer work that requires the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing – including frequent talking, hearing, writing, typing, reading, and significant comprehension. The employee frequently is also required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms/hands. Regular and consistent attendance required. Ability to work well under stress and managing workload of multiple priorities.
