Position Title: Home Security Sales Representative
Location: Gwinnett County, GA.
Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Summary: As a Home Security Sales Representative at Vivint, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth by selling our home security and smart home products. You will be responsible for generating leads, conducting in-home consultations, and closing sales. This position requires a motivated, goal-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation:
Proactively generate leads through various methods, including cold calling, door-to-door canvassing, networking events, and referrals.
Utilize Vivint’s marketing tools and resources to identify potential customers.
2. Sales Presentations:
Conduct in-home consultations with potential customers to assess their security needs.
Demonstrate Vivint’s home security and smart home products, highlighting features and benefits.
Provide customized security solutions tailored to each customer’s needs.
3. Sales Process:
Follow up on leads and schedule appointments with prospective customers.
Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiating terms, and closing sales.
Ensure accurate completion of sales contracts and related documentation.
4. Customer Service:
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Provide post-sale support and assistance as needed.
5. Training and Development:
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on Vivint’s products and sales techniques.
Attend regular sales meetings and share best practices with the team.
6. Performance Goals:
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Track and report on sales performance and market feedback to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications:
• Experience: Previous experience in direct sales, preferably in home security, technology, or related industries.
• Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Ability to present complex information clearly and compellingly.
• Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle objections.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Other: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, which are strongly recommended for success.
Compensation:
• Salary: Compensation will be 100% commission-based.  Each employee will be a 1099 contractor.
• Incentives: Performance-based bonuses and incentives.
Working Conditions:
• Environment: This role involves both office work and fieldwork, including visiting customers’ homes.
• Travel: Frequent local travel to customer locations.
