Role Description

This is a full-time entry-level role as a Fire Sprinkler Designer at Automatic Sprinkler of Texas, Inc. in Duncanville, TX. As a Fire Sprinkler Designer, you will be responsible for assisting with the design and layout of fire sprinkler systems and ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and client requirements. This will include sprinkler head layout, piping layout, hydraulic calculations using Hydracad design program, as well as plan submittal, stocklisting and ordering material. This role will require on-site presence and collaboration with other team members to contribute to the successful completion of projects.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD (certificate or prior experience)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Microsoft Office
• Reliable Transportation
• Experience with Hydracad is beneficial but not required
• Experience in the construction or fire protection industry is beneficial but not required
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards is a beneficial but not required
