Field Technician
Field Technician- Mobile Drapery Cleaning.
Part Time, leading to Full Time if works out. Must be Organized and Presentable to Customers, Ability to deliver outstanding customer service. This is a hands on position. Requires Physical Work. Requires ability to lift heavy objects (large drapes), climb ladders, and work at heights. Experience working in theaters would be great, as would good problem solving abilities. Paid Training.
For this job, you need to drive in our mobile drapery cleaning unit to the client locations (mostly Theaters Hotels), take the drapes down and put them in our drapery cleaning machine. Once cleaned, hang them back up. Repeat. Just that simple. We would like you to be able to drive the truck, but to start, you will work with a senior technician as a team and he can drive. Our system is completely non-toxic and environmentally friendly, no heat, no chemicals.
Some of our work is out of town. Out of town work comes with a per diem, hotel and travel expenses fully paid. Must have clean criminal record.
Clean Drivers license with at 5 years driving experience is an asset. Experience driving heavy vehicles, working with ladders, Theater experience, fabric care, sewing, tailoring experience all assets but not required.
