At least 6 months of experience as a dog groomer (Priority)

Responsibilities:
- Help provide a safe, comfortable environment for dogs to be groomed
- Communicate with dog owners at drop-off and pick-up; providing necessary feedback about the groom and/or dog during the visit
- Maintain a cleanly environment
Must Haves:
- 6 months of experience as a dog groomer (Priority)
- Enjoy working with both humans and dogs
- Work well in a team environment but also independently with dogs
- Comfortable communicating with customers and dog owners
- Strong customer service and intrapersonal skills
- Open to feedback and loves to learn
- Strong attention to detail – both in communication and in grooming
- Weekend and evening availability
- Animal handling experience
- Proficiency in pet care and animal restraint
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks
Position requires bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 65 pounds unassisted, as necessary) and standing for long periods of time. A large amount of this partner’s time will be spent in direct contact with our customers and their dogs. The work environment can be noisy and wet.
