Direct Support Mentor

1. The Direct Support Staff report directly to the Day Program Coordinator/ Supported Employment Coordinator and is responsible for the day-to-day operation day program activities   The Direct Support Staff makes sure to follow Day Program services and Transportation expectations and daily documentation for day program and supported employment services.  
2. HAVE FUN building relationships and supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live the lives they want to live as independently as possible. 
3. * See people SMILE everyday by providing activities to bring joy to their lives. 
4. * LAUGH as you enjoy assisting people to learn new skills/techniques throughout the day. 
5. * Assist people by connecting them with resources to gain employment if desired. 
6. * COACH life skills in areas such as employment, money management, and relationship-building. 
7. * HELP people to meeting their basic needs.
