Overview: Are you passionate about design and eager to start a career in the kitchen and bath industry? PD Interiors is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Design Assistant to join our team. This position is perfect for someone with a keen interest in design who is ready to learn and grow with us. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with clients and team members, developing your skills and gaining hands-on experience in creating beautiful kitchen and bathroom spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn to gather detailed information from clients to help draft kitchen and bathroom designs according to their specifications.
• Assist in using ProKitchen to design, draw, price, and present estimates and proposals for kitchen and bath projects.
• Help prepare Sales Agreements and Purchase Orders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Coordinate and schedule field measures to obtain accurate custom measurements for each project.
• Assist in ordering cabinetry and accessories, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Maintain open communication with clients, suppliers, and team members throughout the project, addressing inquiries and concerns as needed.
• Support the team in complying with company procedures related to sales transaction paperwork, including processing refunds, credit memos, and other tasks.

Qualifications:

• A strong interest in design and a willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with design software like ProKitchen is a plus, but not required.
• Good communication and client service skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• A positive attitude and a desire to grow within the industry.
