Consulting Arborist

Position Overview: As a Consulting Arborist, you will be responsible for supervising various types of tree work and infrastructure projects related to trees in all five boroughs of New York City. Your role will encompass inspecting previously completed tree work, performing tree inventories, and meticulously documenting your findings using MS Word and Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee tree work and infrastructure projects near trees.
- Inspect and assess the quality of previously completed tree work.
- Conduct tree inventories, including species identification, health assessment, and maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation using MS Word and Excel.
Requirements:
- ISA Certification (Strongly Preferred)
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to all five boroughs of New York City.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel for documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for urban forestry and environmental preservation.
