Job Description:

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Community Solar Sales Representatives to join our team. This is a commission-based role, perfect for individuals who are self-driven and eager to earn based on their performance. Your primary responsibility will be to generate leads and close sales by engaging with residential and commercial prospects through door-to-door (D2D) and business-to-business (B2B) interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct door-to-door (D2D) and business-to-business (B2B) sales activities to promote community solar programs.
  • Educate potential customers on the benefits of subscribing to local solar farms and how they can save on their electricity bills through energy credits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residential and commercial clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and target potential customers within assigned territories.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Attend regular training sessions and meetings to stay informed about industry trends, sales techniques, and product knowledge.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow up with clients to ensure a smooth transition and satisfaction with their solar subscriptions.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in D2D or B2B environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and relatable manner.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within designated territories.

Compensation:
