CABINET MAKER

Jkath Design Build + Reinvent has been providing our residential renovation business with a custom cabinetry for 14 years. Our custom cabinet shop includes a Homeg CNC machine with a vacuum lift, sander, edgebander, and an optimizing tiger saw. We are looking for a long term, career minded, Cabinet Maker with experience, or a previously attended academic program to join our team. 

This position entails fabricating quality cabinets for kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins, and furniture as well as cabinet delivery and installation, as needed, to meet the demands of our renovation/client schedule. 

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a full-time cabinet maker with experience in custom cabinet making. A keen eye for detail and accuracy while efficiently producing quality work. This person must have the ability to read blueprints and build from shop assembly drawings. Proficient with the use of routers, table saws and other cabinet building tools. Experience working with a CNC is a plus.

The Cabinet Maker will work alongside our existing cabinet team led by the Operations Manager, operating new equipment, learning, and understanding all facets of production and the facility. This position will have access to all project schedules from demolition to final punch list, which will be available for ongoing review in our cloud software, Buildertrend.

JOB RESPONSILBILITES

  • Knowledge and operation capabilities of machinery such as sliding table saw, edge-bander, sander, shapers. CNC experience is a plus.
  • Excellent math skills.
  • Teamwork and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, assist with troubleshooting as needed. 
  • Willingness to work alongside a team of professionals, and our design and field crews.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and clean environment.
  • Strong work ethic and respect for others.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and be on your feet for several hours
  • Working inside our cabinet team and in the project fields as needed to support punch list, and occasional custom installs.
  • Deliveries to and from our finishing booth and project locations.
  • Valid driver's license 

 

FINANCIAL PACKAGE

  • Negotiated four days/week, 6am-4pm. The hours can be flexible, with 4 ten-hour days and a three-day weekend. 
  • Hourly Wage, $24 - $30. 
  • Paid Federal Holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day).
  • 1-week paid vacation, eligible 90 days after date of hire. 
  • 401K Employer contributions after 1000 hours, company match up to 4%.
