JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a bookkeeper at our firm, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records for our diverse client base. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

-- QuickBooks Desktop Experience necessary: Proficiently navigate QuickBooks Desktop to handle bookkeeping tasks efficiently.

-- Payroll Entries: allocating payroll entries from payroll reports accurately.

--Payroll Processing; Processing payroll in QuickBooks desktop and responsible for federal & state electronic payments in addition to all quarterly & annual payroll tax returns

--Analytical Skills: Utilize analytical abilities to identify discrepancies, errors, and opportunities for improvement in financial records.

--Organization: Maintain an organized system for record-keeping and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.

--Communication: Demonstrate strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.

--Computer Skills: Showcase EXCELLENT COMPUTER SKILLS and the ability to adapt to various software applications quickly.

-Process payroll in QuickBooks desktop

REQUIREMENTS:
--Accounting major and have taken financial accounting courses (tax and managerial accounting courses a bonus)

· Knowledge/Experience in QuickBooks Desktop 

  • Must possess EXCELLENT COMPUTER SKILLS & APTITUDE!

    · Familiarity with financial reports such as Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, and preferably Statement of Cash Flows.

    · Knowledge of payroll 

    · Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.

    · Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

    · Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
