Behavior Technician Job Requirements

 Implementing skill acquisition programming as well as behavior intervention plans directly with students.

 Collecting multiple types of data (i.e., percentage, frequency, duration, MTS, whole, and/or partial interval) as needed based on the direction of Treatment Technician or BCBA on the team. 

 Providing written and verbal daily updates for team and parents/caregivers.

 Must maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within the first 6 months of employment. 

 Must be able to implement recommendations given by Treatment Technician or BCBA in a feasible amount of time.   

 Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. 

 Must have a high school diploma.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Must be able to provide a safe, positive based, successful environment for students.

 Must be available for regular on-going training, supervision, and continuing education.

 Must have reliable transportation.

Must be available for evening/after school hours.

The Behavior Technician reports directly to the Treatment Technician (if assigned) or the BCBA on the case. 

No prior ABA experience is necessary, but an ideal candidate will be energetic and motivated to learn in a fast-paced environment.
