We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team in the role of Mold Plug Maker. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating plugs for mold production by performing precise bodywork tasks. This includes using Bondo, sanding, ensuring body panels and styles match, and achieving perfect fitment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

· Create plugs for mold production by prepping and perfecting vehicle body panels.

· Perform body work using techniques such as sanding, grinding, and filling with Bondo or other materials.

· Ensure that all body panels match and achieve perfect fitment.

· Prepare surfaces for mold making by sanding and applying primer.

· Use hand tools and power tools to achieve precise and detailed finishes.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Certification from a technical school or completion of an apprenticeship program in auto body repair preferred.

· Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role.

· Proficiency in using tools and equipment common to auto body repair, including sanders, grinders, and fillers.

· Strong understanding of vehicle construction and repair techniques.

· Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment.

· Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.

· Stamina to perform physical tasks for extended periods.
