Job Description:

AGB Appliance Repair is seeking a skilled and experienced Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers etc. This position requires technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Responsible for repair, diagnose, troubleshooting and service of residential and commercial (based on experience) appliances.

·        Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, stoves, dishwashers etc.

·        Accurately document the service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.

·        Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair options, time estimates, and maintenance recommendations.

·        Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

·        Keep up to date with industry best practices and new technology advancements in appliance repair.

·        Handle service calls efficiently and professionally, ensuring timely arrival and completion of each job.

·        Advise the customer of his/her present and/or future service needs.

·        Provide accurate diagnostic and labor costs to the office to provide an accurate repair quote to the customer.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience as an appliance technician or in a similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in appliances.
• Ability to safely use hand and power shop tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
• Ability to understand and fill out service-related documents and paperwork.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach. (Being bilingual is a plus, but not necessary.)
• Valid driver's license.
• Have your own transportation, and tools for field service work.
