Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable/Accounting Specialist to manage our financial transactions and ensure the smooth operation of our accounts payable processes. This role is crucial to our financial health and will involve collaborating with various departments to support our projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledgers, ensuring timely payments and resolution of discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly payment runs and manage cash flow forecasts related to payables.
• Assist with month-end close procedures, including account reconciliations and reporting.
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and answer inquiries.
• Support the accounting team with additional tasks as needed, including data entry and record-keeping.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or accounting roles, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficient in accounting software (experience with QuickBooks is a plus) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial data.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
