Music Specialist Teacher Job Description 

A music specialist prepares and delivers individual youth music production and content-related courses, group activities, maintains records of classes, materials and gathers feedback on the quality of trainings from students. Specialist will learn, plan, and implement tasks/deliverables for a successful program and class launch by working with leadership to understand and assist with project requirements, develop class materials and specifications that describe how the program will be implemented and facilitated. 

Specialists will be supported by leadership and other designated resources in order to successfully plan, launch, and deliver all applicable program tasks. 

Responsibilities (paid training will be provided):

-Maintain positive and professional relationships with school administrators and youth 

-Facilitate classes / workshops / activities for applicable audiences

-Communicate with leadership on class issues, incidents, and risks

-Identify opportunities to optimize processes for program delivery

-Adhere to project management plan and indicated timeline of events 

-Assist with managing escalations from internal and external stakeholders 

-Provide technical and troubleshooting class support 

-Survey and collect data to refine effectiveness of each program 

-Class Set Up: Connectivity, Music Equipment and provide lesson plan support 

-Post Class Support: Equipment breakdown and class data collection (rosters, surveys etc.)
