About us
· Global Metalizing Corporation specializes in thermal spray metaling for corrosion 
control and structural protection. We provide services to the marine, civil 
engineering, architecture and industrial sectors and guarantee our work for up to 
20 years.
· The company is located in Lake Park, FL. Contracted jobs may be located around 
the country but are concentrated in midwestern and eastern states.
· This position is initially part-time, but it is expected to evolve to full-time as the 
business grows.


Overview
Reporting to the CEO and Thermal Spray Supervisor, the General Laborer will work 
with a company project team. In the General Laborer role, you will perform various 
manual labor tasks such as loading and unloading materials. You will use power 
tools, electrical equipment, and manual tools to aid in project completion. Success 
in this role will be demonstrated by your ability to complete tasks in a timely 
manner while minimizing work hazards.
Responsibilities
· The main responsibilities of the General Laborer include physical labor, such as 
carrying heavy objects and materials, operating machinery, and using hand tools.
· The General Laborer is also responsible for cleaning and maintaining job sites, 
loading and unloading materials, and assisting skilled workers.
· This job requires physical strength, stamina, and the ability to follow instructions 
and work well in a team.
· Basic knowledge of safety procedures and equipment is essential to ensure a safe 
working environment.
· General laborers may work full-time or part-time, and the hours can vary 
depending on the industry and specific job.
· The General Laborer may have opportunities for career advancement by gaining 
more experience or developing specialized skills.
Requirements/Qualifications
· OSHA Construction Safety Training is preferred.
· Ability to receive and interpret instructions on specific assignments, objectives 
and complex features; solve problems, and manage time effectively.
· English and Spanish speakers preferred.
· Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients, third party contractors 
and the company work team.
· Ability to stand, climb and walk continuously during an 8-to-12-hour period and 
perform strenuous work in unfavorable climate conditions (hot and cold, etc.)

 Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to various project sites in own vehicle or 
company vehicle at jobsite.
· A high school education and relevant experience in industries such as coatings, 
construction, manufacturing or agriculture is preferred.

Ability to work occasional weekends and nights. 
· Basic math skills for calculations and measurements.
· Familiarity with metalizing and/or painting applications is preferred.
