Lockhart Logistics and Courier is a fast growing last mile delivery company seeking to add to its team of Independent Contract Drivers/Owner Operators. Independent Contract Drivers/Owner Operators will be able to run routed, dedicated, deliveries to the homes and businesses of our customers.

This is a 1099 position, you will work independently, driving your own vehicle (car, suv, minivan, or sprinter/cargo van) We do not reimburse for gas, vehicle repairs, etc. You must possess and maintain insurance $100,000/ PER ACCIDENT 300,000 AND PROPERTY DAMAGE 50,000

Requirements

* Be 21 years of age or older.

* Possess a valid driver’s license

* Pass a background check and MVR screen.

* Own and operate your own, dependable vehicle and possess/maintain insurance for your vehicle.

Qualifications

* High School diploma or GED

* Strong communication skills (i.e., written and oral communications)

* Dedication to customer service

* Be able to lift, pull, and carry as much as 50 pounds

* Fluency in English

* Be able to utilize your own vehicle – company vehicles are not provided

*Must be worked on Sundays

Rate $2.00 per stop (most stops are 1-3 minutes apart).

Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload delivery items, ensuring proper handling and secure placement.
- Drive company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations, following established routes and schedules.
- Utilize communication skills to interact with customers and provide excellent service during deliveries.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed and adhere to safety protocols to prevent injuries.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and comply with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate delivery logistics and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $220.00 per day

Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
