Math Teacher

We’re looking for an Afterschool Math Instructor to join our team!

Responsibilities:

- Teach Math to Elementary and Middle School students

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that will include Logical Reasoning and Olympiad Math

- Manage and educate students in a classroom setting

- Help students understand the structure of Math and develop mathematical competence

- Motivate each student to apply mathematical understanding and skills in the solution of practical problems

- Maintain positive relationships with students and parents

Qualifications:

- Minimum one year of experience working with kids, preferably in a school system or university settings

- Previous experience teaching kids at a public school is a plus

- Ability and desire to make Math fun for children

- Bachelor’s Degree required

- Teaching experience required (minimum one year)

- Must be available after 4:30pm

- Must have reliable transportation

- Must be punctual, enthusiastic, responsible, and flexible

All lessons will be in-person
