What is P&C Insurance?
Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance protects the things people own (like their homes and cars) and covers their liability risks (if they accidentally cause harm to others or their property). This includes products like auto insurance, homeowners insurance, renters insurance, and more.
Responsibilities:
* Learn and Understand P&C Insurance Products: You will receive comprehensive training on our range of personal and/or commercial P&C insurance products.
* Generate Leads and Identify Prospects: Develop strategies to find potential customers through networking, referrals, and company-provided leads (depending on the role).
* Contact and Engage Potential Clients: Reach out to leads via phone, email, or in-person (if applicable) to introduce our insurance products and services.
* Assess Client Needs: Listen attentively to understand the individual needs and circumstances of potential clients to recommend appropriate coverage options.
* Present Insurance Quotes and Explain Coverage: Clearly and effectively explain the features, benefits, and costs of different P&C insurance policies.
* Close Sales and Complete Applications: Guide clients through the application process and ensure all necessary information is accurately collected.
* Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Provide excellent customer service to new clients to foster long-term relationships and encourage referrals.
* Meet Sales Targets: Work towards achieving individual and team sales goals.
* Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed records of client interactions and sales activities.
* Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures: Operate ethically and in compliance with all relevant insurance regulations.
Qualifications:
* Must be a currently enrolled student in good standing at a college or university. 
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Ability to clearly explain complex information in an understandable way.
* Self-motivated and goal-oriented: Driven to achieve sales targets and succeed.
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic: Enthusiastic and committed to learning and growing.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic computer skills: Familiarity with email, internet, and basic software applications.
* Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus but not required. We provide comprehensive training!
* Must be willing to obtain the required insurance licenses (with company support).  Property & Casualty Producer License.
* Reliable transportation (if required for in-person meetings or fieldwork).
