Gulf Stream School, a PK-Grade 8 school on the southeast coast of Florida,  is seeking  full-time Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teachers for the 2025-2026 school year. PreK 1, Pre K 2, and Pre K 3 classes are held at Gulf Stream School’s Delray Beach Campus, 2515 North Swinton Avenue, Delray Beach, FL, and PreK 4 is held on the main campus at 3600 Gulf Stream Road, Gulf Stream, FL. 

Our 1s program has  9 students with a Lead Teacher and an Assistant Teacher in one classroom, our 2s program has 18 students with a 2 Lead Teachers and 2 Assistants in one classrooms, and our 3s program has 25 students with 2 Lead teachers and 2 Assistant Teachers in two separate classrooms - one per section. The school day is 7:30-3:30, or until all students have been picked up or gone to the After School Program. 

A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field is preferred. Experience teaching young children and a Master’s Degree in Education are desirable; however talented beginning teachers may be considered. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must, as is a desire to work as part of a strong team. GSS offers competitive salaries and benefits in accordance with experience. Candidates can earn additional compensation by working in our after-school program, 3:30-4:30 Mon.-Fri.
