Summer Household Assistant – Sag Harbor, NY
Location: Sag Harbor, New York
Duration: Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend (Late May – Early September)
Compensation: $25-30 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility; on-call availability required
Live-in Option: Available if needed

About the Role:
Our family is seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented individual to assist with day-to-day household operations at our private residence in Sag Harbor for the summer season. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a warm, family-oriented environment in a beautiful waterfront setting. Local candidates are preferred, but a live-in arrangement can be provided for the right fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily light housekeeping and general tidying of the home
• Basic meal preparation and light cooking for the family
• Assisting with prepping and maintaining the family boat (boating experience a plus, but not required)
• Running errands and helping with household tasks as needed
• Being on call to support the family’s needs throughout the day

Ideal Candidate:

• Friendly, respectful, and trustworthy
• Enjoys working and engaging in a helpful, hands-on way
• Comfortable with flexible, on-call scheduling
• Prior experience in a private home or similar setting is a plus
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and adaptable
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if not live-in)
