Lifeguards from June 16 through August 14

Camp TBI is a childcare facility in Blue Bell, PA serving children 6-weeks to 5 years. We are currently seeking a certified lifeguard for our summer camp. The lifeguard will be responsible for the safety of children ages 3 to 5 years and teachers while swimming. You must have current lifeguard, first aid, and CPR certifications OR be willing to receive certification in CPR, first aid and lifeguarding. 

Lifeguards are responsible for:

• Ensuring the safety of the children and staff while in the pool.
• Follow, understand, and enforce safety rules, policies, and guidelines at all times.
• Stay on alert on the lifeguard stand and prepared to respond to emergencies in and out of the water.
• Practice proactive pool scanning, maintain an unobstructed and uninterrupted view of the pools while in use.
• Know all emergency procedures and respond to emergency situations immediately in accordance with our safety plans.

Requirements:

• Must have current lifeguard, first aid, and CPR certifications OR be willing to receive certification in CPR, first aid and lifeguarding. 
• Self-motivated, capable to stand, sit during a shift, work in a humid, warm environment, and have effective decision-making skills.
• Meets state of PA clearances and background checks.
• Fifteen years of age or older.
