We are the signature flavor behind some of your favorite meal experiences. We are the partner to some of the most well-known names in food, food service and retail. You will find our products on fast-casual menus, frozen meals, retail deli, meal kits and RTE bagged salads. 

We co-create and supply our partners with hot-cooked products including sauces, cheese sauces, soups, chilis and marinades. Our cold-processed products include dressings, sauces, spreads, and batters. We are a fast-growing food organization with 2 production facilities and 1 Distribution Center in Southern California.

Job Purpose:

The engineering intern will perform tasks requiring the application of engineering techniques and procedures. Will work with our Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams. 

 

Job functions:

  • Contribute to projects and initiatives, gaining valuable insights to the operations of a food manufacturing plant. 
  • develop and maintain mechanical systems and components
  • Participate in daily production activities, including monitoring and documenting production metrics. 
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. 
  • work with complex systems, structures, and materials to create solutions that meet functional requirements. 
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving production issues. 
  • Conduct research, collect data, and perform analysis to support project objectives
  • Design processes, systems, materials, and tools. 
  • Stay up to date with international engineering trends. 
  • Estimate Costs
  • Project management
  • Conduct research and apply new knowledge to improve processes. 
  • Seek feedback and guidance from mentors and leadership to support professional development.

Qualifications: 

Years of experience: 

0 to 1 year of relevant experience. 

Education:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering.
