We are seeking full and part time Speech Language Pathologists (SLP).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an integral member of a team at a non-public school for elementary age children, offering an Applied Behavior Analysis model for learners with communication, learning and behavior challenges.
  • Provide direct service to students in both 1:1 and small group settings utilizing evidence based practices. Design supplemental enrichment opportunities that target language development.
  • Conduct informal assessments and report present level information in students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate to assess the need for Augmentative and Alternative Communication systems (AAC- sign language, gestures, speech-generating devices [SGDs], and/or written language) and to provide support for current systems in place.
  • Collaborate with Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Education Specialists in treatment design and program development
  • Gather data, monitor data and analyze progress regularly
  • Maintain client files and treatment logs in an organized manner. Document all sessions, both content and minutes, on a daily basis
  • Attend and participate in meetings as required (e.g., team meetings, parent meetings, IEP meetings)
  • Develop instructional materials and evaluate commercially produced materials for use in treatment

Required Qualifications

  • Current California Speech-Language Pathology License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with learners with autism
  • Prior experience working within an Applied Behavior Analysis model or relevant coursework

Compensation

  • Salary- SLP: $85k-$95K
