Registered Behavior Technician RBT 

 The responsibility of the Registered Behavior Technician will be to provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community and school setting. 

What you will be doing each day: 

Provide direct behavioral services to clients both at our center location and/or in the client's home as needed. 

Run Skill acquisition programs with clients using Applied Behavior Analysis and Verbal Behavior Analysis. 

Complete daily program related documentation and maintain clients' electronic records as needed. 

Work with Board Certified Behavior Analyst and/or Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts to implement individualized treatment plans. 

Collect and graph data using electronic practice management software provided. 

Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions and when emergency crisis situations arise. 

Understand behavioral situations and react according to written protocols. 

Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients. 

Other duties as assigned by Clinical Director. 

 

What you will bring: 

Minimum High School diploma required 

Must Pass background check 

Reliable Transportation, proof of auto insurance, and valid driver’s license required 

40-hour RBT Competency  

Preference given to individuals who hold a valid Registered Behavior Technician Certificate. 

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

Must be at least 18 years of age. 

Minimum 1-year experience working with children, adolescents and/or adults with special needs. 

Individuals with childcare/daycare experience are encouraged to apply. 

Bilingual a plus. 

Must be able to pass RBT exam within 60 days of hire. 

 
SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook). 

Excellent communication, interpersonal & organizational skills. 

Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA guidelines. 

Perform general clerical duties including maintaining accurate client records and preparing clear and concise reports. 

Communicate effectively both orally and written. 

Work independently and make decisions within the framework of established guidelines 

Able to lift up to 25lbs. 

Must be in good physical health and able to run, stoop, kneel and stand for varying periods of time as needed.

Salary Tier:  

$16.00 - 23.00 (Rates based on credentials and experience)
