Job Summary:
As an On-Site Service Technician (1), you will work closely with our On-Site Service Technician (2 or 3) to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of IT assets to and from client locations, back to our processing warehouse and/or other specified destinations. This is a customer facing role and you will be on the front line of delivering an exceptional customer experience for our clients. You are a problem solver and are steadfast even in fast paced, and sometimes demanding or ambiguous situations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist the lead driver in safely operating a box truck to transport IT assets between various locations, including client sites, recycling centers, and our facility.

· Aid in loading and unloading IT assets onto and from the truck using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring items are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.

· Assist with pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and its cargo, reporting any issues or concerns to the lead driver or management promptly.

· Support adherence to all relevant traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, while driving and operating the truck.

· Help maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information as required.

· Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and colleagues, representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

· Communicate effectively with the lead driver, dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate schedules, routes, and deliveries efficiently.

· Assist with other tasks and duties within the ITAD facility as needed, including asset sorting, packaging, and inventory management.

· Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck, including regular washing, fueling, and minor repairs or maintenance tasks.

· Comply with all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials and electronic waste.

Physical Requirements:

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

· Previous experience in a support or assistant role preferred.

· Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices is a plus.

· Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, including IT equipment, up to 75 pounds.

· Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.

· Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions from the lead driver.

· Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.

· Commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

Employment Details:
