We are seeking a skilled and experienced sound technician to join our team for outdoor events this summer. Prior experience in audio preferred. Must be able to coordinate set-up, operation, and strike of audio equipment. Must be highly motivated, able to problem solve, flexible, and mitigate situations under stress.

Weekly shift: Sunday from 8:00 AM – approximately 2:00 PM. Opportunity for occasional Saturday and weeknight shifts in addition to Sundays. Flexible scheduling.

All events are held outside so weather plays a huge factor in this job. Weather decisions will be made approximately 48 hours prior to events. Earliest event date: May 11. Latest event date: September 28.

PREREQUISITES
Proper set up, operation and tear down of audio equipment
Responsible for the safety and security of equipment
Load/unload audio equipment
Technical aptitude in audio
Troubleshoot equipment failures during live events
Positive & effective interaction with co-workers
Must be flexible with scheduling due to weather
This position will oversee and execute setup, operation, and takedown of sophisticated audio equipment for masses and weddings

QUALIFICATIONS:

Audio set-up and tear-down experience
Sound board experience
Able to regularly lift 20lbs unassisted

Pay: $125.00 - $150.00 per day
