We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing compliance with all relevant alcohol and tobacco laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves conducting undercover compliance checks to ensure establishments are properly IDing customers purchasing alcohol and tobacco products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular audits and inspections of partner establishments to ensure compliance with alcohol and tobacco laws and regulations.
• Perform undercover compliance checks by attempting to purchase alcohol and tobacco products to verify that establishments are IDing customers.
• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures specific to alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in alcohol and tobacco laws and regulations affecting the hospitality industry.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a compliance role or similar preferred.
• Strong knowledge of alcohol and tobacco laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to conduct undercover compliance checks.

Compensation:

• $17 per hour.
• $0.50 per mile reimbursement for travel.
