We are interviewing for a qualified classical guitar Instructor for our children's program. The teacher will be working with children 5-17 in small groups and privately. A background check, training and licensing is required. The training is free. Training requires 30+ hours of online and in-class training. The compensation starts at $39/hr (min) and can go up to $156/hr. (max) There is a 10% raise after a 6-month probationary period. The Instructors are part-time Independent contractors and are allowed to have other non-competitive teaching or other work.

Requirements:

• Must pass a background check and have transportation.

• Must be conscientious and on-time.

• Must have classical guitar technical skills and be able to read music on the guitar.

• Experience relating to children and parents.

• Must undergo Childbloom training and licensing.

• Familiarity with the technical and musical history of the guitar is a plus.

• Must attend monthly team meetings and participate in community events such as open houses, recitals and performances.
