Orthopaedic Physical Therapist Position Available in Newport News, VA
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Physical Therapist to join the expanding outpatient orthopaedic clinic on a full-time basis. The practice leverages the latest technology and techniques to address orthopaedic surgeries and impairments in both Pre and Post,  Active lifestyle and Sports Athletes

Job Requirements:
•    Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program
•    Current Licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility to obtain Virginia State Licensure
•    Minimum 0-2 years of experience required, with manual therapy skills preferred
•    Strong organizational and time management skills required
Job Responsibilities:
•    Evaluation and development of Physical Therapy plans of care for the orthopaedic patient population
•    Supervision of care provided by Physical Therapist Assistants
•    Administration of physical therapy treatments, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, modalities, traction, etc.
•    Medical documentation, including patient evaluations, re-evaluations, daily treatment notes, exercise flow sheets, and other necessary paperwork
•    Participation in Community Lectures/Outreach
•    Communication with referral sources, physicians, third-party payers, etc., to provide comprehensive patient care
•    Maintenance of professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
•    Compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
•    Participation in open communication and team-building opportunities
