Responsibilities

• Implement our curriculum in a way that is meaningful and interesting to young children.
• Use Positive Guidance when assisting children in learning how to self-regulate and manage their behavior appropriately.
• Facilitate a classroom community where all children feel safe, valued and loved.
• Be a positive part of our center community.

Qualifications

• Background Check/Reference Check
• Must have 60 college credits with at least 6 credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development per DCFS Requirements
• Have an understanding of Developmentally Appropriate Practices
• Flexibility to work between the hours of 7am-6:30pm depending on scheduling
• Able to lift 40 pounds, sit, stand, kneel, and be active in a classroom setting. 
• Experience with toddler-3 yrs children required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Punctual and dependable

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $17.50 to $19.50/hour
