Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. This role combines traditional business analysis responsibilities with accounting support functions to drive data-driven decision-making and ensure financial accuracy. The ideal candidate will excel at translating complex data into actionable insights, optimizing business processes, and assisting with key accounting tasks to support our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis:
- Analyze business processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and projects.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate performance metrics and trends to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business objectives with operational execution.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support decision-making and growth strategies.
Accounting Support:
- Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with the accounting team.
- Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and ledger reviews.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
- Assist with audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
