Description: Under the general direction of the Tribal Administrator. The person selected for this position will manage specific projects assigned by the Tribal Administrator to include supporting senior transportation needs and green house funding coordination. Position does require occasional travel outside of the local area to attend meetings/conferences.

Must be very organized with the ability to: manage assigned projects; coordinate with appropriate partners; pursue funding to support assigned projects; create reports for management and Tribal Council; meet with local, state and federal officials to secure resources & support for projects; present reports to Tribal Council; and attend training, workshops & meetings on behalf of assigned projects and the Tribe.

Requirements:   Any combination of education and experience equivalent to possession of an Associate’s degree in a business-related field and a year of experience in a similar position. Must be proficient in current technology and related computer software. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people with diverse backgrounds. Position requires a drivers’ license valid in the State of North Carolina. 

Compensation:  This is a grant-funded position. The hourly hiring range for this position will be $16.39 to $20.46 (Annually: $34,083 to $42,565 annually). The tribe provides a comprehensive employee benefits package.
