Dog Daycare/Boarding Attendant – The Spotted Dog

The Spotted Dog in Oakland, NJ is looking for a dog-loving individual to join our crew as a Dog Daycare/Boarding Attendant. We love dogs here at The Spotted Dog and are lucky to be around dogs all day.

Starting at $15.13 an hour plus tips, flexible schedule, fringe benefits- Come Join our Team!

Job Duties:

• Supervise play areas to ensure pet safety
• Walk dogs
• Clean up dog waste
• Fresh and clean water all day
• Prepare dinner & breakfasts
• Clean & maintain kennels daily Perform light cleaning duties
• Keep the front desk informed about pets that are ready for pick-up
• Communication is key- you must be able to work as a team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Hours vary and may require working weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must love dogs of all kinds
• Proven kennel experience and strong animal handling skills
• Ability to perform animal restraint and provide excellent pet care
• Experience in pet sitting preferred, or previous daycare/boaridng experience prefered
• Strong customer service skills and ability to lift heavy animals as needed
• Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs frequently.
