Lake Joy Campground is seeking responsible and conscientious individuals with good communication skills to join our team for the 2025 season. We are looking for help with groundskeeping, cleaning duties, and campground facility maintenance. Come join the Lake Joy crew and work in a fun, fast-paced outdoor environment. Groundskeeping, Maintenance, and Hospitality Duties:
•    Perform groundskeeping duties including campsite cleanup, beach maintenance, litter/garbage collection, trimming, brush cleanup, and assisting with other groundskeeping projects.
•    Clean and maintain public areas including game room, playgrounds, shower houses, campsites, and other campground locations. 
•    Be helpful to camping guests by guiding them to their campsites and assisting them with placement on their sites.
•    Prepare rental boats and orient camping guests on their usage.
•    Operate equipment including utility vehicles, weed trimmers, leaf blowers, and power washers. 
•    Inspect and maintain boats, batteries, motors, inflatable lake toys, and playground equipment.
•    Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed, such as minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
•    Frequently monitor recreational areas (beaches, playgrounds) to ensure safety rules are followed. 
•    Be knowledgeable of Lake Joy’s amenities and services to answer guest questions.

Job Requirements:
•    Availability to work a flexible schedule including rotating weekends and holidays.
•    Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
•    Must have the ability to work in an outdoor recreational environment in a variety of weather conditions.
•    Should be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
•    Ability to interact with customers and provide campground information as needed.
•    Ability to work well in paired and team settings, as well as ability to work independently.
•    Seek out additional tasks or duties when available. 
•    The ability to observe any issues or damage that require attention and report these to management.  

Employment Term: Seasonal—position runs from early Spring to late Autumn

Start Date: March or April 2025

End Date: October or November 2025

Hours: Up to 40 hours per week during summer; flexible part-time hours during spring and fall.

Pay: $17.00/hourly starting wage; a higher wage will be considered for qualified candidates.
