We’re expanding our team and looking for dedicated CDL and non-CDL drivers who want to make a meaningful difference in our community.


 

Job Description:

As a Driver for Kid Connect Transport, you will be responsible for transporting children and families to schools, activities, and other destinations. Your role is critical in ensuring passenger safety, adhering to schedules, and creating a welcoming environment for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation Services:

Safely transport passengers to and from designated locations.

Follow assigned routes and schedules, ensuring punctuality.

Provide a positive and respectful experience for passengers, particularly children.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure all passengers are safely secured (e.g., seat belts, car seats).

Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.

Complete defensive driving training and respond to emergencies using basic first aid when required.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Perform routine vehicle checks for safety, cleanliness, and readiness.

Report any issues or maintenance needs promptly.

Record Keeping:

Maintain trip logs, mileage reports, and passenger records accurately.

Report incidents or delays immediately to the appropriate team members.

Professionalism:

Communicate effectively and respectfully with parents, guardians, and team members.

Build trust with families through reliability and care.


 

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license (CDL not required).

3 years of clean driving history (no accidents or violations).

Minimum age requirement: 26+ years old.

Willingness to complete defensive driving training.

Basic first aid certification or willingness to obtain it.

Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with children.

Reliable,  (for non-CDL drivers).

Work Schedule:
