Hourly Rate: $18/hour


About Us:

Maison Valencia is seeking a dynamic, tech savvy individual to join our team as Boutique’s manager, personal assistant & sales associate.This role involves a blend of creativity, event planning, customer service and digital marketing .

Responsibilities include 

Run errands as needed to support the Boutique’s day- to -day operations.

Assist with event planning by contributing to the development and execution of in -store and off-site events, including products launching, seasonal promotions and special celebrations (including weddings and Birthday Bashes)

Attend and help with setting up events ,ensuring that all the details are in place and that guests have a memorable experience .

Assist manager with developing and implementing strategies to attract customers.

Manage and run the Boutique's social media accounts, including creating and scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and increasing the Boutique's online presence.

Rearrange and update the website as needed, ensuring that the site is user- friendly, visually appealing, and accurately reflects the boutique's offerings.

Support sales efforts by assisting the manager on the sales floor, providing product information, and helping with transactions.

Experience in Sales is a plus.

Strategically arrange product displays to attract customer attention.

Create and manage promotional materials, such as signage and banners.

Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is fully functional, clean and presentable .

Reporting to management and performing secretarial and administrative duties.

Entering data, maintaining databases, and keeping records.

Scheduling appointments, maintaining an events calendar, and sending reminders.

Copying, scanning, and faxing documents, as well as taking notes.

Preparing facilities for scheduled events and arranging refreshments, if required.

Ordering office supplies and replacements.

Observing best business practices and etiquette.

Help with daily time management.

Run errands as requested.

Keeping the facility clean.

Merchandising.

Responsibility to price new items.

Keep record of new and old products.

Update prices & inventory check.

Daily updates for the store website.

Brand advocate.

To ensure success as a personal assistant,

you should exhibit excellent organizational skills, multi tasking skills with the ability to manage both in-store tasks and digital responsibilities and demonstrable experience

Tech savvy with experience in social media management and basic website editing e.g Wordpress, Shopify, square space, wix

Strong communications skills both written and verbal ,with a flair for engagement & content creation .

Previous retail sales experience is a plus.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation is $18.00 - $22.00/hour.
